Summer Camp 2022
This Camp is for children from the age of 8 who loves technology and art! A week-long session is dedicated to personal creativity and learning new skills in digital art and computer programming and even some acting and directing skills.
This summer each student will create a visual novel.

This Camp is for children from age 8 who loves technology and art! A week-long session is dedicated to personal creativity and learning new skills in digital art and computer programming and even some acting and directing skills.
This summer each student will create a visual novel.
The students design a story plot, create multiple storylines with more than one ending, which is a great opportunity to put themselves into the scriptwriter shoes! Also, with the help and gentle guidance of the instructor, students brainstorm ideas, act the dialogues out and exercise in the world building.
What is a Visual Novel?
Visual novels are interactive fiction video games. They’re much like Choose Your Own Adventure books you definitely remember from your childhood! However, they’re way more advanced. In order to create one, you would not only need to write a story with multiple branches and endings, but also provide illustrations for the plot and write enough code to support it.

In order to create one, you would not only need to write a story with multiple branches and endings, but also provide illustrations for the plot and write enough code to support it.
Students will:
walk in the scriptwriter’s shoes by writing their own stories for the project – including dialogues and multiple endings. They will get an opportunity to go far and beyond their imagination by creating amazing narratives and mesmerizing worlds of fiction
embrace their artistic side by creating numerous illustrations for the project. They will learn how to think in shapes, design a title page, and making their own vector shape to hold the imagery
code in Python for the interactive sequences of their novels, which will give them enough experience to feel comfortable using such a versatile programming language

Duration & schedule
Each session will take 5 days, Monday through Friday.
Classes will be held from 9 am to 3 pm.
Please note that the camp will be in-person, not online.
